This is one of the books we were requred to read before the program starts. The subtitle of this book is "What Manager, Executives, and Students Need to Know". I would edit slightly: What Managers, Executives, Students and the Perpetually Curious Want to Know".
If you read only one book on macro economics, this is the one to read. If you wish you had just a little better understanding of how markets work, this is the book for you.
It's simple. It's elegant. It's readable.
(I can't say the same for my accounting text, but for an accounting text, it's fun. More on that one later. )

It's not yet available in e-text.
Eight weeks at Harvard. It sounds great. It is great. It's also eight weeks away from my baby, and eight weeks away from my job. One breaks my heart and the other breaks....well, I'm not sure what, but I love my job. Here is where I hope to share the best, interesting parts of this new education.

A Point of Interest: iPad vs Blackberry
Business loves Blackberry, right? Well, not the business school. A near-requirement of the program is to arrive with an iPhone, an iTouch or an iPad. I can only assume at this point that it's because of the ease of development for iProducts. HBS has apps.
HBS also recommends apps. Take a look:
